The project Something is wrong: A campaign series against violence against women addresses violent crimes against women. Three artists, in cooperation with organisations working in the field of victim protection and prevention, are creating three poster campaigns that handle different aspects of gender-specific violence. #somethingiswrong will transform the public space of cities and villages surrounding us every day and use billboards otherwise dedicated to advertising to collectively stimulate conversations, create awareness and initiate transformative processes.
At the start of the project, the participating artists and representatives of organisations will talk about their work practice and present the project in a panel discussion together with the curators (Angelika Burtscher, Veronika Hackl and Daniele Lupo).
