The project ÜberEck by the team of artists KünneGrote will take a humorous look at the effects of increasing road traffic and the structural situation in a number of Tyrolean regions, where many houses stand directly on a thoroughfare, with no front gardens or pavements.

Project description

In an intervention lasting several days, the artists Grote and Künne will partially wrap and protect the corners of such houses using ski mats, climbing ropes and carabiners, lending them a new and irritating connotation. In the summer season, the protective devices used on the mountains and in winter will appear as visual markers of change in the townscapes.
