Project description

The project will combine the classic craft of Lüftl painting, with the socio-critical, participative and decolonial methods of Latin American muralismo. The ‘Lüftl-Muralismo’ will thus create a picture of the consequences of climate change and mass tourism, posing questions about conceivable futures in the Tyrolean valleys. The motif will be inspired and informed by discussions with local residents, as well as by scientific findings, artistic research, and critical story-telling.
